ODAŞ shared its 2025 Sustainability Report, prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS), with the public. Covering the period from 1 January to 31 December 2025, the report comprehensively presented the Company’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and sustainability approach in line with the principles of transparency and accountability. ODAŞ continued to place sustainability at the heart of its corporate structure by advancing the sustainability strategy it launched in 2023 through the focus areas of “Responsible Growth,” “Continuous Improvement” and “Growing Stronger Together.”
Driving Operational Transformation Through Environmental Investments
ODAŞ supported its sustainability strategy with concrete actions, making a total of TRY 255 million in environmental investments and expenditures in 2025. These investments and expenditures were implemented in the areas of ambient air and climate protection, wastewater management, waste management infrastructure and environmental compliance, transforming the Company’s sustainability approach into a firm operational commitment. A circular economy approach was adopted by recovering fly ash and gypsum waste generated by the Çan2 Thermal Power Plant as raw materials for the cement and construction industries. Through these practices, waste management was transformed from merely a disposal process into a structure that creates economic value. Over the past three years, the non-hazardous waste disposal burden was significantly reduced, while resource efficiency was increased.
Clarifying Strategic Priorities Through Double Materiality Analysis
The Company conducted a comprehensive double materiality assessment to redefine its sustainability priorities. Within the scope of this assessment, the impacts of its operations on the environment and society were evaluated alongside the financial impacts of sustainability-related matters. During the assessment process, the views of a broad range of stakeholders, from employees and suppliers to public institutions and non-governmental organisations, were obtained, and the prioritisation process was carried out using a multidimensional approach. In this context, emissions management, physical and transition climate risks, energy management and transformation, water management, waste management, and occupational health and safety emerged among the priority areas.
Strengthening Its Human Capital, Corporate Governance and Investments
ODAŞ continued to strengthen the social dimension of its sustainability approach. During the 2024–2025 period, the number of employees across the Group increased by 9%, while the Company maintained its approach to qualified employment. To monitor social indicators related to its sustainability performance through a more transparent and accountable approach, the Company began publishing the relevant KPIs as audited data for the first time. In this context, key performance indicators such as employee demographics, employee training, occupational health and safety training provided to subcontractors, employee turnover, occupational health and safety indicators, indicators related to volunteering activities, and the employee engagement rate were included in the report.
Under the ODAŞ People Program, employees actively participated in 12 different social responsibility projects throughout 2025. The total time devoted to corporate volunteering activities amounted to approximately 1,334 hours. In addition, to strengthen sustainability governance, the Company established a more independent and structured Sustainability Committee in 2025. As a result of the rating conducted by Kobirate International Credit Rating and Corporate Governance Services Inc. to assess its level of compliance with the “Corporate Governance Principles,” ODAŞ increased its Corporate Governance Compliance Rating Score from 8.84 to 8.95.

Melih Yüceyurt, ODAŞ Director of Finance and Investor Relations and Member of the Sustainability Committee, made the following remarks regarding the report:

In line with the priorities we identified through the double materiality approach, we systematically assess our environmental, social and governance performance and, in keeping with our commitment to transparency, provide our stakeholders with clear, reliable and comparable information based on the outcomes we achieve. By integrating sustainability into all our business processes, we will continue to create lasting value across all the geographies in which we operate.”
Strengthening Its Global Sustainability Commitment Through UN Global Compact Membership
ODAŞ took a significant step towards aligning its sustainability strategy with global standards by becoming a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact. Through this participation, ODAŞ committed to complying with the 10 fundamental principles covering human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility and anti-corruption. The Company positions this framework not merely as a declaration of compliance, but as an integral part of its corporate culture and operational processes. This step supports ODAŞ’s objective of developing its sustainability approach into a more systematic and measurable structure aligned with international standards.
