Institutional culture places great importance on volunteer activities among projects that support the working environment in corporate culture. At ODAŞ, we contribute to our work culture by encouraging employees to participate in social benefit-oriented projects. In this context, we not only discover employees' diverse talents but also support them in strengthening these talents through volunteering experiences. ODAŞ People Volunteers develop corporate internal projects focused on social impact and can participate in projects of non-governmental organizations. Within this scope, last year, ODAŞ participated in projects such as collecting bottle caps with the Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey, becoming Water Volunteering with TEMA, running for the TOHUM Autism Foundation at the 45th Istanbul Marathon, participating online for the Turkey Alzheimer's Association in 'Tell Me a Story,' and joining the 'Description Workshop' for Parıltı Association for Supporting Blind Children. Within one year, we reached approximately 138 volunteer hours in these projects. In 2023, during the earthquakes on February 6th, we also deployed 100 rescue specialist miners to the region. Thirty of our rescue specialised miners participated in operations in Kahramanmaraş Afşin and 70 in Hatay.
As a company that promotes a culture of volunteerism, we observe the positive contributions of our colleagues' participation in projects to their work and surroundings. We recognize that the increased social bonds and motivation they develop with the teams they collaborate with on projects have a positive impact on their work performance. Moreover, the achievements from these projects also trigger their determination to achieve their goals. These volunteer projects that increase motivation also contribute to a positive work culture, resulting in happy employees for us.
