As ODAŞ, we touched the dreams of children — the true owners of April 23rd. We asked 200 children in the playrooms of the Women's Foundation for the Evaluation of Women's Work (KEDV) Children's Centers in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, and Hatay: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
We listened to their dreams, felt their excitement, and embraced each story with love. Then, in collaboration with KEDV’s Women’s Cooperatives, we handcrafted special Vocational Dolls — each one sewn to reflect a child’s dream profession. Now, as these little hands hold their dolls, they’ll feel once again how precious and possible their dreams are. On this April 23rd, we celebrate not only a national holiday, but the bright hopes of our children. Because we believe every dream can come true — with belief, love, and support. Happy April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day — a timeless gift from the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to all children.
To draw attention to autism and raise awareness, we once again lit up our Çan2 Thermal Power Plant in red on April 2, World Autism Awareness Day. On this special day, we emphasize our belief in the importance of better understanding and supporting individuals with autism in society. By reminding everyone that autism is not a deficiency but a different perspective, we invite all to help create a more inclusive world for individuals with autism and their families. ❤️
