Following the United Nations’ declaration of 2026 as the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, we too brought the power of volunteering into action as part of Collective Impact Week.
In collaboration with İhtiyaç Haritası, we collected stationery supplies across all our locations with the support of our volunteers for approximately 100 children receiving treatment in oncology wards. Through this strong spirit of solidarity, we delivered these supplies to the children, contributing to their morale and motivation. Through this project, we not only contributed to collective impact but also once again demonstrated the value of acting together.

Students who participated in the championship with the support of Çan2 Thermal Power Plant became second in Türkiye.
Students from Çan Zeynep Bodur Okyay Special Education Practice School, which continues its educational activities in the Çan district of Çanakkale, achieved a significant success within the scope of competitions organized by the School Sports Federation for special education institutions.
With the support of Çan2 Thermal Power Plant, the students qualified to participate in the 3x3 Basketball and Athletics Turkish Championship held in Samsun between April 12–16, where they stood out with their outstanding performance. Demonstrating determination and strong team spirit throughout the tournament, the students achieved second in Türkiye in the basketball category, bringing great pride.
As Çan2 Thermal Power Plant, we are pleased to continue contributing to the education and social development of young people. We are delighted by this meaningful achievement and sincerely congratulate the students, their teachers, and everyone who contributed. We wish them continued and increasing success.
Çan2 Thermal Power Plant, in collaboration with the Çan District Directorate of National Education, brought 270 middle school students together with the Çanakkale Martyrs’ Memorial on March 3–4 as part of its program. As part of the visits held for three consecutive years, students had the opportunity to tour historical sites accompanied by guides, observe the traces of the Çanakkale Victory on site, and experience the spirit of that era more closely.
Ali Kemal Kazancı, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çan2 Thermal Power Plant, stated that they place importance on contributing to the development of young individuals who are committed to their history, values, and country through such initiatives, and emphasized that they will continue their social responsibility efforts supporting education and youth development.
