Could you briefly tell us about yourself?
I am someone who strives to see life as a whole, embracing both its material and spiritual dimensions. After studying economics at Princeton and SOAS, I took on senior leadership roles across diverse sectors ranging from energy to technology. I currently serve as the International President of ODAŞ Group. However, for me, the most important thing is never losing the spirit of “service” and kindness, regardless of the work I do. As a mother of two daughters, I also strive to be both a strong role model and a safe harbor they can always turn to.
What has holding senior executive positions in sectors with different dynamics added to your vision?
Different sectors actually reveal different faces of the same reality. In energy, I learned strategy; in technology, speed and adaptability; and in mining, patience. I came to understand the value of remaining calm in the most challenging moments and of approaching situations not through personal ambition, but with a greater sense of purpose. Today, success for me is not only about profit; it is about creating meaning and leaving a lasting impact.
As a mother, how do you maintain the balance between your intense global work schedule and your compassionate role at home?
For me, it is less about managing time and more about truly being present in the moment. Wherever I may be, when I am with my children, I leave all my titles at the door. Knowing that the time I spend with them is a precious trust nurtures both my motherhood and my leadership.
This Mother’s Day, what would you like to say to working women who are focused on both their careers and their children?
I believe that a woman who finds inner peace can create balance both in her professional and personal life. Working is also a form of service. Whenever you feel inadequate, remember that you are leaving your children not only opportunities, but also character and values. Our greatest legacy is our stance in life.
How has being the mother of two daughters influenced your leadership style and your approach to life and business?
It has taught me to be compassionate yet determined. When I look at them, I see the future. This makes me a more inclusive and constructive person. I want to show my daughters that it is possible to be both graceful and strong. Every day, through them, I learn again that true strength lies in inspiring others.
